Dr. MaKayla Reid, DDS
Dr. Reid is a graduate of Detroit Mercy Dental School, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She and her husband moved to the area for a slower, scenery-filled change of pace with more nature than concrete. After living in Detroit for 10 years and practicing alongside great mentors for six years, Dr. Reid felt it was time to embark on owning her own practice. Although she is completely committed to her patients and her continuing education, she does enjoy hiking, mountain biking, weight training, and reading in her spare time and on weekends.
Karen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Whether you are a new patient or a long-time patient of Karen’s, you will always feel welcome and educated. Karen adds a personal touch to every patient experience. Karen was D’Amour Dental’s hygienist for 25 years and now has joined the M. R. Dental Team, adding tremendous value and keeping patients comfortable. Karen is devoted to your health and her own. Outside of work, Karen enjoys family time, camping, and kayaking, along with weight training and running.
Beth, Insurance Coordinator
Beth was one of the newer members of the Dr. D’Amour team and has been a great addition to the M.R. Dental team. Beth is the problem solver in the office and is always there to figure out an insurance claim or a perfect appointment time for you. Outside work, she is busy raising teenagers, camping, and cruising on her Harley.
Chris, Dental Assistant
Chris is still a familiar face for patients at M. R. Dental. Chris was Dr. D’Amour’s assistant for over 21 years and now is working alongside Dr. Reid. She adds such a welcoming touch to every patient experience, whether you are a long-time patient or new to our office. She will always make you feel comfortable. Chris loves her family, spending time at camp, and cruising with her husband on their motorcycle.
Michelle, Dental Assistant
Michelle is also another familiar face that you can expect to see on your return visits to M. R. Dental. She was part of D’Amour Dental’s team for eight years and is now working alongside Dr. Reid. Michelle is very detail-oriented and will always make you feel like family. Michelle is busy outside of work raising her children with her husband.
